1982 Camaro Z28

Bought for $1,800. Was in great condition at the time of purchase. Blue with silver trim. Automatic Transmission shifted very hard and always chirpped the tries from first to second. I broke the stabilizer linkage on this because of that when turning on a wet road. The car had a great sound to it and I often got compliments & questions about the aftermarket exhaust I had on it. it was stock. Chevy did that right on these!

Was in an accident a month later, got hit parked on the side of the road in front of Fat jack’s Comics in Oakland, NJ. An unlicensed, illegal immigrant hit me while coming out of a gas station, he lost control of his car and nailed me. Even though they were on the spot when the police showed up (their car was totaled), they were not contactable and deemed to have fled the area in the time afterward so I was SOL on the insurance.

Estimated repairs was $2,676.08.
Sold on April 12th, 1991 for $650.00 to a private buyer.
