1984 Camaro Z28

Purchased for $2,500. My second and last Chevy product for a while. I found this Z28 in the paper used, a woman was selling it to go off to and pay for college. It was very well kept for and immaculately clean inside and out. Black with gold trim and a tan interior, and best of all…T-Tops! This definitely got me hooked and a taste for the convertible roadsters I’d seek out in the future.

The automatic transmission in this was not as harsh as in the 1982 Z28 I previously owned, but the car itself was a bit more powerful. It also did not have the louder exhaust note either. I kept this car in the utmost condition, having all the time in the world as I was out of High-School and working a simple part-time job, I was waxing & polishing this thing twice a week. The shine on it was amazing, it was a black mirror driving down the road, and the compliments on that were plentiful!

Eventually, I had to make the same decision as the previous seller, and sold it due to wanting to go to college. The high-cost of my insurance at this time was assinine due to a lot of tickets…
