Cuban Crafters

Cuban Crafters Conecticut
Well here we go, waiting a while to try the namesake from this amazing brand.

The taste is unobtrusive in the mouth and warm, a slight pepperyness exists but its not overbearing. It’s mostly dry but contains a hint of creamy sweetness in the aftertaste. A mouthful of smoke gives a rich, dark taste of earthy tobacco, some coffee and that light sweetness. Retrohaling uncovers a more drier, woody taste but mixed with a distinct nutty taste with some more coffee undertones.

The aroma is medium as well including the warm smoke coming off it, carrying a caramel-creamy sweetness enveloping a deep rich earthy tobacco smell. Some notes of chocolate and nuts are present when idling. Overall it is on the darker, earthier side of the spectrum.

Although I use the term sweetness often in describing this, it’s not sugary. This isn’t a sweet stick at all, but rather it’s a nice, complimentary tone to the overall rich tobacco primarily found in this cigar. And it’s definitely a cigar you will be smoking with a medium strength to it, and it’s a fine one at that.
