Diamond Crown Maximus

Bought in a shop here in Vegas, this is apparently a rare cigar created by Carlos Fuente at Newman’s request.

This cigar is excellent. It’s labeled as a full-bodied with a maduro wrapper. However, it’s not overpowering at all in taste. A very smooth smoke with a complex taste to offer.

I initially experienced a very present honey taste. This probably gives it the cigar’s creamyness overall, as the honey did give way to other flavors such as a hint of coffee, a certain nutty flavor akin to pistachios, and a really nice blend of tobacco and earthyness that may allude to the light bouquette-ish taste.

The aroma is pretty similar, the sweetness is ever present, and every whiff presents something different to figure out.

An absolute favorite. This cigar offers a lot of enjoyment, quite easy to smoke, and a lot to explore in taste & smell.
