Don Kiki Green Label

After thoroughly enjoying his Red label, I look forward to sampling his other offerings, and up next is this Green label.

The draw is a little tight, esp. after being in a humidor for a good while, but nothing that gets in the way of enjoyment. The taste is fairly mild and smooth compared to the red; it’s dry and woody with some toasted nut offerings. Retrohaling reveals more wood and a hint of a fruit taste. The aftertaste is quite nice with a slight dried-fruit thing going for it. No sign of pepper or harshness.

The aroma is also mild with no one scent overpowering. There’s an ever present sugary-sweetness to it combined with a unique tobacco and herbal quality. The smoke is light and it’s not hot to the nose. It’s very familiar with Don Kiki’s cigars.

It’s an enjoyable cigar and a mild one at that. I feel the Red label offers more to enjoy, however.
