Rocky Patel Renaissance

A rather premium cigar at nearly $7 a stick, I was looking forward to this and some other Patel’s as I really enjoy their aroma and taste.

The Renaissance is mild despite the darker wrapper. Overall it’s well tamed, with a subtle sweetness adding to the more nutty flavours. Not at all spicy or peppery, and consistent all the way through.

It was definitely a smooth, enjoyable cigar, but not something I’d purchase again. It just wasn’t that interesting to me, but it’s a great cigar nonetheless.
