Victor Sinclair Bohemian Oscuro

Victor Sinclair Bohemian Oscuro

Usually part of my Sunday Sinclair Sampler but it was too damn cold yesterday. So tonight it’s a surprisingly enjoyable 28 degrees with little wind in the back yard. Time to enjoy this dark and night Oscuro.

On the bittier edge, the taste is quite lively but not too overpowering with a distinct peppery and tobacco-herbal tinge to it, but the pepper is not hot nor harsh. It’s overly dry with an aftertaste of cocoa powder and wood. Retrohaling brings out more of the wood and dryness with some sweet cocoa powder.

The aroma is quite the opposite, primarily sweet with the sense that the pepper cooked into a brilliant range of herbal scent. The cocoa has melted to a more creamier sweetness, but it’s always with that tinge to it.

This is a unique cigar bring some stronger tastes & scents while remaining well composed and enjoyable. never too harsh, not hot or too strong, it delivers a nice presence in the mouth, releases a nice thick smoke of rich, complex aromas, and leaves both senses with a sweet yet spicey afternote, but not too much. This is a good cigar.
