Victor Sinclair Series 55 Maduro

Having enjoyed VS’s seconds from cigarsinternational.com, I’m finally getting a taste of the real Series 55 in a maduro. The wait was worth it!

The taste is earthy and woody, with a light sense of sugary-sweetness mingling with some pepper. Retrohaling reveals more of the woody and earthy tastes. Overall it’s quite smooth and no hot or harsh to the mouth.

The aroma is also sugary-sweet with a very Victor Sinclair tobacco smell that’s not too hot to the nose. Some notes of citrus and herbs mingle in the light smoke.

This is a very enjoyable cigar with a natural sweetness to it while being mild with a hearty tobacco presence to it. The seconds sold at Cigars International are $35 for 20, making them a fantastic bargain.
