Victor Sinclair Vintage Select
Yay Christmas Stoagie! This Victor Sinclair kicks off my next 12 Sunday stoagie smokes as I go through a VS Best Of collection purchased from cigar.com. I’ve been enjoying VS’s 55 Second and a few others, and looking forward to trying all he has to offer.
This maduro gets the ugly-stick reputation around the net from its looks, but it delivers in taste, making a lot of people happy due to its cheap price. The taste is dry and very woody, but still quite smooth with a little harshness to it.
The aroma is lush with a rich, milky smooth scent, but not sweet or overly creamy, but it does have a dark chocolate undertone to it. Some very Sinclair tobacco notes carry in this as some of their other cigars, as well as a light herbal or floral quality.
Even though it has a bit of a harshness or burn in the taste, it’s a great smelling cigar and still quite enjoyable and would be great to have as a daily smoke if found at a $2 per stick price (sometimes less than this!).
