Joe found himself in a cabin in the woods listening to a jam session by local blues legends, when someone handed him a jar of peach moonshine. At first, Joe was apprehensive to take a sip. After all, he didn’t know where it came from or who made it. He did not hesitate long, after all this was the stuff of legends.
Suddenly seeing a few bottles of Moonshine at the local liquor store, I figured it was some type of legal, marketable drink. After talking to a shop owner about it, she recommended the Strawberry flavoured stuff, noting that it was definitely a sipping substance.
And a great one at that! The taste is very smooth, as this Moonshine is triple-distilled using triple-filtered water. Initially, there’s a kind of mild burn that exists in the throat, but it does go away quickly.
This is sweet, but not artificially so in a candy sweet. Instead, it’s very natural tasting with a thickness to it that deserves to be slowly enjoyed. The alcohol does take its time to be noticed, but this can be very easily enjoyed throughout an evening without getting too impacted. There’s no harshness in the taste or strong alcoholic bite. Just a nice, sweet strawberry taste.
This is good stuff, even better than any flavoured Vodka I’ve ever tried. They make several flavours of this Moonshine and I’m going to be trying them all it seems.
